App development
for iPhone and Android

From idea to store: we design the app, build it, publish it on the App Store and Google Play and keep it maintained. We know what passing an Apple review feels like because we publish our own apps.

What kind of app?

Apps for your business

Bookings, orders, loyalty, catalogue, appointments. Your own branded app on your customers' phones.

Web apps (PWA)

When the stores are not needed: an app installed from the browser that works offline and costs a lot less.

Games and one-time-purchase apps

Real experience in mobile games with Unity, with no ads or in-app purchases: like Yases, our jacks game for iOS and Android.

Internal apps

Tools for your team: job sheets, inventory, routes, checklists. Simple, fast and with no per-user licences.

What is included?

The whole road until the app is in the store and in your customers' hands, and what comes after.

How we work

  1. 01

    We define

What the app has to do, for whom, and what is not needed in the first version.

  2. 02

    We prototype

A clickable prototype on your phone to test the flow before writing code.

  3. 03

    We build

Test builds every few weeks so you can use it and give feedback.

  4. 04

    We publish and maintain

We handle Apple and Google reviews and every operating system update.

An app is never finished.
It is maintained.

Apple and Google change every year, and an app that is not updated ends up removed from the store. That is why development comes with a monthly fee that includes maintenance, updates and support, instead of a closed quote that leaves you alone on launch day. For larger apps we combine an initial payment with the monthly fee.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an app cost?

It depends enormously on scope: a simple web app has nothing to do with a native app with payments and user accounts. The honest approach is to define a minimum first version with you and quote that; many ideas are better off starting as a PWA and growing later.

How long does it take?

A PWA or a simple app, 4 to 8 weeks. An app with user accounts, payments or complex features, 3 to 6 months. Store review adds anything from a few days to two weeks.

Do I need Apple and Google developer accounts?

Yes. The app is published under your name and the accounts are yours (Apple charges $99 a year and Google $25 once). We help you create them and pass verification.

Do you build for iPhone and Android at the same time?

Yes. We develop a single code base published on both stores, so you do not pay for two apps.

What is a PWA and when does it make sense?

A progressive web app: it opens from the browser, installs as an icon on the phone and works offline. It makes sense when you want to reach customers without sending them to a store, and it costs considerably less.

What happens if Apple rejects the app?

It is more common than it seems and we have been through it with our own apps. We prepare the app and the listing to meet the rules from the start, and if there is a rejection we handle the review and the appeals.

Have an app idea?

Tell us in a few lines. We will say whether it makes sense as an app, a PWA or a website, and what a first version would cost.
